    • Char, Chris and Dan had a long ranging discussion about many aspects of the society including the current state of attendance to meetings, the impact of COVID19 on attendance and activities by the society, the fall fair, family farm day, and climate action.
    • Char emphasized the power of projects to get people interested has extensively discussed as ways to reinvigorate the Society once the time is now.
    • Dan mentioned for now perhaps it is best to “keep the bones” of the society and movement going until some of the restrictions that are making it difficult to carry out projects and get people engaged, are able to lift. And to encourage people to engage when we can. We made sure that Char’s Lansing was included on the AVTT list!
    • Dan mentioned reading Rob Hopkins (founder of Transition Town). Turning What If to What Is.
    • Char mentions: Perhaps a questionnaire could be worked on to engage the community.
    • Given the lack of board members and general members we did not continue the discussion on Charity status at this time though Rob did mention electronically in days running up to the meet that it might be useful to consider having The Gleaning Project seek charitable status and become the holder of charitable receipts for AVTTS.
