National Observer outlines three items that should be part and parcel of all government portfolios. It’s mostly common sense in terms of a government response to an unfolding climate threat, but there seem to be too many entrenched interest and too much fragmentation for that phenomenon to take hold:

Sean Holman used to write a regular column (some time back) about the shenanigans in the Rockpile on Belleville, but has since moved on to what must be greener pastures. Note the cinematic involvement of Damien Gillis, a younger firebrand sidekick of Rafe Mair when Rafe had worked the Socred worms out of his pores.
