Alberni Valley Transition Town Society is hosting the AV Community Garage Sale (April 19, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Abbeyfield Seniors Centre) as a fundraiser for community groups, as a way to practice the 5Rs (recycle, restore, repair, repurpose and reduce) and as a community-building project to bring people together.
